This collection consists of a Bryan family Bible, a registry in the Bible with genealogical information on the Bryan family, a letter to James Bryan from Moses Austin Bryan, copies from published sources of articles related to Stephen F. Austin and Bryan family members, and other genealogical materials.

This collection has the family bibles of John and Elvira McClean Holdeman and Alma Florence McCasland Holdeman as well as photocopies of Republic of Texas land documents and Confederate military service records of the Nacogdoches family.

Collection contains genealogical research mostly pertaining to the Earnest, Gaston, Hamilton, and Killion families. Includes Bible owned by Mary V. Hartgraves Bible.

The bible records (1830-1974) include births, deaths, and marriages of the Lanford, Yandle, Jimmerson, Wright, and Rodgers families of Henderson, Rusk County, Texas.

The collection is the first 11 pages of a family Bible, including three pages listing family information. This includes the marriage of W. A. Morris and Alice Corley in 1910 and the birth of a son, William Raymon Morris, in 1911.
